And amid all the activities, Max watches and waits.
And on Christmas morning Max sits patiently waiting as we open gifts with family, somehow knowing – expecting – his gift.

It’s important to slow down your dog’s fast eating habit

Slow Down Your Dog's Fast Eating
Eating too fast is a bad habit and is not good for the dog’s digestion, which starts in the mouth.
Some dogs (and cats) have a tendency to gobble down their food so fast, that it can come back up within minutes.
Most likely, the food came back up whole, which is not a reflection of the food, but regurgitation from his eating too fast. (If the vomit has mush or digestive juices then you have to find what caused it.)

Watch out for Salmonella in Commercial Dog Food!

Don't touch the (commercial) dog food!
Think pet foods are getting safer? Think again.

An FDA memorandum released this week stated that it is: “particularly concerned about salmonella being transmitted to humans through pet foods, pet treats, and supplements for pets that are intended to be fed to animals in homes, where they are likely to be directly handled or ingested by humans.”
