Max has been off raisins and grapes since we read this.
Please read on… and pass along to save a dog’s life:
==========
This dog died from eating raisins.
Most of you probably know about grapes and raisins being toxic, but if not, please read & pass on:
After getting his annual shots at the vet, Max’s nose started running, and he developed a hacking cough.

So my pal Toby’s laughing at my hacking and coughing.
But while Toby laughed, the hacking cough was quite alarming to both me and my mistress.
I finally stopped going on walks — I just couldn’t quite catch my breath. I was also having trouble sleeping.

Seems like things are nice and balanced around here, then some dog’s have to start acting out and getting the humans in a tizzy.
Recently a friend of my Mistress was house sitting and caring for two dogs — a terrier mix and a schnauzer. As she took them on a walk in the neighborhood, the dogs bounded ahead of her on their leashes – barking at neighbors, chasing squirrels and pulling her the whole way. They were having a blast!
Dog Walkers offer a great service to both you and your dog
A dog walker is a great way to get your dog out for some exercise and socialization if he is home alone all day.
The dog is usually walked for about half an hour — and if several dogs are walked at the same time — offers your pet the opportunity to socialize.
Dog walkers will walk a smaller dog for a shorter distance, while larger dogs may be walked – or run – for a longer and further distance.
The Benefits of Doggy Day Care
Fortunately our dog Max is able to enjoy being at home as I work at my computer.
But like most pet owners, there are times when I simply must be away for the day or longer and as such I shudder at the thought of leaving our beloved dog behind. After all, being a valued member of our family, our dogs require love and attention during the day as well as at night.
Doggy boarding is often provided by a family member or the vet’s office.
But what about those times when we simply need day-care for our dogs?
