Meet
Rufus & Henry
This is Rufus, and for a little while he was literally what got me out of bed in the mornings after an unexpected redundancy. When my partner left for work, Rufus and I would have breakfast together and I would spend a couple of hours looking for jobs. Then we would have a walk to clear my head before heading home to submit applications. Then another walk in the afternoon as a reward to both of us.
That was just one stage on the journey that has led us here but the love, friendship and comfort Rufus gave me can’t really be put into words but it’s just one reason why I want my ‘little buddy’ to be a part of my family for as long as possible.
Meet
Jess & Ludwig
This is Ludwig — or as we call him, Louie. He came into our lives during lockdown, but he changed mine forever.
I’d always dreamed of having a dog, and when Covid paused the world, it finally felt like the right time. What I didn’t expect was how much Louie would carry me through a period of loneliness, stress, and feeling far from home. When we couldn’t see our families, Louie became the heart of ours. He got me outside, brought joy into each day, and reminded me what unconditional love truly feels like.
As a mum and a marketing leader, life is always full — but Louie reminds me to slow down and enjoy the moment. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to give him the very best: the healthiest food, the cleanest supplements, and everything he needs to grow old by my side and thrive alongside our young son. Because dogs like Louie give us everything — and they deserve the very best in return.
