Meet Henry & Rufus

Rufus has travelled with us from the other side of the world and through multiple house moves, keeping us grounded every time. A Red Setter crossed with a Golden Retriever, he used to literally stop traffic such was his cuteness as a puppy. Now our big handsome boy is happiest lolloping across our nearby common or curled up next to us.

The foundation of our little pack, the love, friendship and comfort Rufus gives my partner, my daughter and me can’t really be put into words but it’s just one reason why we want our ‘little’ buddy to be a part of the family for as long as possible.

A couple of years ago I started researching ways to boost Rufus’s diet, helped by a background in biology and time as a health writer. Chatting to Jess in the dog park about the natural, whole food and functional ingredients out there inspired me to share my powdered blends with friends and family who owned dogs and now, with Jess’s help, with you too. All of us want as much time with our dogs as possible, even though it will never be as long as we hope. That’s what started all this.

Meet Jess & Ludwig

Ludwig — or Louie, for short — joined our family during lockdown, and I never expected just how much he would change my life.

I’d always dreamed of having a dog, and when the world hit pause during Covid, it finally felt like the right time. What I didn’t expect was how much Louie would carry me through the loneliness, homesickness and being far from loved ones. When we couldn’t see our families, Louie became the heart of ours. He got me outside, brought light into long days, and reminded me what unconditional love really looks like.

He was our first “baby” before our son came along, and he’s still the glue that keeps our little pack grounded. As a mum and co-founder of Healthy Happy Dog, life is full but Louie is the one who reminds me to slow down and be present. To play. To take the walk. To savour it all. That’s why I care so deeply about his health and having him with us for as long as possible. I wanted supplements I could actually trust. Not filled with junk. Not made to cut corners. Just made to truly support Louie as he grows older by our side.
