What are Healthy Happy Dog supplements?
Natural daily supplements made from real, whole ingredients with nothing artificial.
Healthy Happy Dog supplements are simple, natural daily additions to your dog’s meals.
We use real, whole ingredients like broccoli, salmon, mushrooms, pumpkin and beef liver, These are all chosen because there’s good evidence they support a dog’s overall wellbeing as they age.
There are no fillers, no artificial flavours and no mystery ingredients. Just whole foods, gently dried and blended with care.
Are these supplements the same as dog food?
No. They’re not a food replacement but a daily boost alongside your dog’s normal diet.
Our supplements aren’t designed to replace food. They work alongside your dog’s normal meals to gently support key areas of health such as digestion, joints, immunity and energy. A small daily scoop can make a meaningful difference over time.
What makes your supplements different?
They support multiple aspects of healthy ageing, not just one.
Most dog supplements are built around a single purpose, like joints or skin.
Ours are different. Because we use nutrient-dense whole ingredients, each supplement naturally supports several systems at once: joints, digestion, brain health, immunity and more.

Using the Supplements
How do I give the supplement to my dog?
Mix into their food daily.
Just sprinkle the powder onto your dog’s usual food daily.
Feeding guidelines (in grams and teaspoons) are printed on every pouch and listed on each product page. There’s nothing complicated, consistency is what matters most. Whether you add water or not depends on your dog – Rufus prefers it but Louie doesn’t.
When should I feed it: morning or evening?
Anytime. Whatever fits your routine best.
There’s no ideal time of day. Feed it whenever works for you; morning, evening, or split. Dogs thrive on routine, so pick a time you’ll stick with.
How long will it take before I notice a difference?
Most dogs show small signs within a few weeks.
Every dog is different, but many owners notice things like:
- shinier coat
- steadier digestion
- a bit more energy
- less stiffness after rest
…within a few weeks.
Other benefits happen quietly under the surface; things like supporting immunity, reducing oxidative stress and helping protect cells as dogs age. These are gentle supplements, not instant transformations and that’s by design.
Can I feed more than one supplement at the same time?
Yes. We recommend alternating rather than mixing.
If you’re using more than one supplement, you can absolutely give your dog both. We recommend alternating them (morning/evening or alternate days), rather than mixing everything together.
It keeps things simple and makes it easier to see what your dog responds well to.
Are these supplements suitable for puppies?
They’re formulated for adult dogs.
While the ingredients are natural, puppies have different nutritional needs. Our supplements are designed for adult dogs who have finished growing.
My dog has a sensitive stomach; will this be OK?
Most dogs tolerate them well. Start slowly if needed.
Our ingredients are natural and whole-food based, so most dogs adjust easily. If your dog is sensitive to new foods, start with a half-serve for a few days and gradually build up to the full amount.
Ingredients & Safety
My dog has allergies. Is this safe?
Check the label. We only use whole, listed ingredients.
Our supplements contain only the ingredients printed on the pouch. Nothing hidden and nothing artificial. If your dog has a known allergy to any listed ingredient, that supplement won’t be right for them.
Do you use any fillers, additives or artificial flavours?
No. Zero.
We don’t use fillers, preservatives, artificial colours, artificial flavours, or synthetic additives. Everything in the pouch is a real, whole ingredient with a purpose.
Why do you use whole ingredients instead of isolated extracts?
Whole foods offer broader natural benefits.
Whole ingredients contain natural combinations of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients that work together. Extracts tend to focus on one isolated compound.
We prefer whole foods because they support multiple aspects of wellbeing at once which we believe is a more natural, gentle way to help dogs age well.
What does broccoli (and its sulforaphane) actually do?
It helps cells defend themselves.
Broccoli contains sulforaphane, a compound shown to support detoxification and protect cells against oxidative stress. These processes become more important as dogs get older, which is why broccoli is a key ingredient in our Veggie supplement.
Why do you include medicinal mushrooms like Lion’s Mane and Reishi?
They support immunity and healthy ageing.
Lion’s Mane and Reishi contain beta-glucans and glutathione, two compounds linked to immune resilience and cellular protection. They’ve been used for centuries and are now backed by modern research.
Why whole fish like salmon and herring?
Natural omega-3s, antioxidants and vitamins.
Salmon and herring bring omega-3 fatty acids, CoQ10, iodine and vitamin D which are all important for joints, brain function, inflammation balance and energy.
We use whole fish rather than synthetic oils for a more complete nutrient profile.
Why do you include kelp in your supplements?
For natural iodine and trace minerals that support metabolism and overall vitality.
Kelp is a natural source of iodine, along with a wide range of trace minerals. Iodine plays a key role in thyroid function which in turn supports metabolism, energy levels and overall vitality.
As dogs age, metabolic processes naturally slow down, so gentle, natural sources of iodine can be helpful. We use whole kelp, never synthetic additives.
What does pumpkin do for dogs?
It’s great for digestion, immunity and gentle fibre support.
Pumpkin is rich in soluble and insoluble fibre, which supports healthy digestion and regularity. It also provides beta-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A that supports immune health and skin integrity.
It’s a gentle, nutrient-dense ingredient that many dogs tolerate well which is why it’s a core part of our Veggie supplement.
Why use beef liver?
It’s a natural powerhouse of essential nutrients.
Beef liver is one of the most naturally nutrient-dense foods you can give a dog. It contains taurine, iron, zinc, B vitamins, and vitamin A, all of which support energy metabolism, immune resilience, heart health and tissue repair.
We use whole liver, gently dried, because it brings far more to the table than synthetic substitutes.
What’s the benefit of beef bone broth?
It supports joints, mobility and overall comfort.
Beef bone broth is rich in collagen, gelatin and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs); compounds known to support joint structure and mobility.
It also contributes amino acids that help maintain healthy connective tissue. It’s a natural way to support comfort and movement as dogs age, without synthetic additives.
Why do you use brewer’s yeast?
It’s packed with B vitamins and antioxidants, including selenium.
Brewer’s yeast is a natural source of B-complex vitamins, which support energy metabolism, brain function and overall vitality.
It also contains selenium, a key mineral involved in antioxidant defence and healthy ageing.
Because it’s a whole ingredient, its nutrients are present in balanced, easily absorbed forms, no synthetic B-vitamin powders required.
What’s the role of selenium in your supplements?
Selenium supports healthy ageing at a cellular level.
Selenium is a trace mineral involved in antioxidant defence, immune support and metabolic balance. Importantly, it also helps regulate IGF-1, a hormone linked to how dogs (and humans) age.
It’s one of the quiet through-lines across our range because of its importance in long-term wellbeing.
