Brewer’s yeast is a naturally nutrient-dense ingredient, rich in B vitamins, trace minerals and compounds that help support your dog’s energy, metabolism and immune defences. It’s inactive (so it won’t ferment in the gut) and has a savoury flavour that dogs tend to love, making it a functional and palatable addition to a healthy diet.

Key nutrients and benefits

Thiamine: Essential for nervous system function, energy metabolism and appetite regulation. Thiamine supports healthy brain signalling and is particularly important during periods of stress or illness.

Folate: Plays a critical role in cell division, DNA repair and the production of red blood cells. Folate also helps regulate homocysteine, a compound linked to inflammation and ageing.

B Vitamin Complex: Brewer’s yeast is one of the richest natural sources of B vitamins, including B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12. Together, these nutrients support energy production, cognitive function and healthy skin and coat.

Selenium: An essential antioxidant mineral protects cells from oxidative damage and plays a key role in moderating the activity of IGF-1, a growth hormone associated with ageing .
